Despite attributions in modern publications, this film was not shot and exhibited in a stereographic cinematography process. On the morning of 10 June 1915, Porter and William E. Waddell presented stereoscopic motion pictures in a program at the Astor Theatre in New York, New York, which included standard format scenes from this film. The play was subsequently filmed as Jim the Penman (1921).
