Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Mike and Jake, in the cattle country, are compelled to go to work. They tell the ranch boss they are experienced cow-punchers, and from thenceforth they are beset with dire misfortune. “Aw, this ain’t no fun,” remarks Mike one day, “let’s go out and kill a few Indians.” The cowboys overhear this conversation. They masquerade as Indians. One of them dresses as a maiden. Mike and Jake go out in search of Indians. The phony woman rides up and tells them that the Indians, on the war-path, are after her. The two knights errant shake with fear, revive and beat it, leaving the defenseless woman to look after herself. The fake Indians carry the woman off. Mike and Jake take refuge in a cabin, and see her tortured almost to death. The rest is war until the ranch boss arrives and sends the cowboys to work, Mike and Jake are again rudely ejected into the cold world.
