A Studio Stampede
[Out of Control]
(1917)

This comedy short, directed by Robin Williamson, stars Ben Turpin and Gypsy Abbott, with Edward J. Laurie and Arthur Currier.

The film has apparently only survived in an 8mm reduction print of the rerelease version entitled Out of Control.

This DVD-R edition has been mastered from a fair 8mm reduction print. The image is greyed-out, tightly cropped, and coarse in picture details.

The film is accompanied by a soundtrack compiled from preexisting music recordings.

Not the best option, but this is our recommended home video edition of the film.

This DVD-R collection has likely been mastered from a 8mm reduction print and is likely to be of the exact visual quality of the Alpha Video edition noted above.

The film is likely accompanied by a soundtrack compiled from preexisting music recordings.

We wouldn’t recommend this below-average disc but some of these films are available nowhere else on home video.
